Some events leave you with more than photos and business cards. They leave you with the warm feeling of having been part of something special. That is exactly what the Slovak and Czech semifinal of the WORLDS PMU & Microblading Championship was for us. It took place on 20 and 21 September 2026 at Hotel Senec, and EASYBOOKING was a proud sponsor of this year’s edition. Here is what we experienced.
Why we wanted to be there
EASYBOOKING was created with a simple idea: to let beauty professionals spend more time on what they love and less on admin, phone calls and rescheduling appointments. When we were given the chance to support an event that celebrates precision, talent and continuous learning in permanent makeup, we didn’t hesitate for a second. PMU artists are exactly the people we build EASYBOOKING for.
Day one: live model competition
Sunday was all about the competition. From eight in the morning, the venue was filled with registrations, focused faces and steady hands. Artists competed in four live model categories: Lipstick Effect, Hair Strokes + Microblading, Shaded Eyeliner and Powder Brows. The last competitors put down their machines at half past eight in the evening. Each of them spent three hours of total concentration at the competition table, and we have huge respect for the courage and humility they brought to it.
The judging was in the hands of an international jury: Soňa Vlček (who is also the event’s ambassador), Syndy Čiriková, Martina Czeczil, Jasmine Jiang, Monika Cichosz, Alex Mayil, Daria Napierała, Cecília Bárkányi, Paola Berberi and Lea Matyi. Names that need no introduction in the PMU world.
Day two: a conference full of inspiration
Monday was dedicated to education. The morning belonged to the demo zone, where visitors could watch top artists at work up close, get inspired and make new connections.
The afternoon brought a series of talks without a single weak spot. Paola Berberi opened with HyperReal Brows, followed by Andrea Garcia Boskovičová presenting Skin Reset. Martyna Czeczil of WOWBROW spoke about Combo Era, Cecília Bárkányi about YourTrueBrows, and Lea Matyi moved all of us with her talk on how to turn fear into joy. Sponsor Erika Kovács presented HD Pigments, followed by Daria Napierała of PIXELOVE with Allure Brows, Alex Mayil with Satin Lips and Samuel Alexandre with his Fineline technique. After a fun raffle, Katy Lupsina closed the programme with KYBROWS.
A gala evening and an award we never expected
The highlight of the event was Monday’s gala evening and results announcement. Warm congratulations to all the winners, and to those heading to the grand final in Cyprus (12 to 14 November 2026), we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed! Huge respect also goes to every single competitor, because it takes courage to put your work in front of a jury like this.
And then came a moment we didn’t expect at all. The organisers presented us with the Sponsor Award. Honestly, it moved us. For a company that works behind the scenes to make every working day easier for beauty professionals, recognition like this from the community is the best thank you there is. We accepted it with great joy and see it as a commitment to keep supporting the people who make this field more beautiful.
